Donohoe Construction Company in the Washington, DC region is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full life cycle recruiting, coordinate internships, and build strong relationships with colleges, universities, and industry partners.

Qualifications

• Experience with onboarding processes.
• Knowledge of employee training and development principles.
• Knowledge of employee retention strategies.
• Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly organized with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, interview coordination, and administration of internship programs.
• Handle full life cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, interviewing, closing.
• Organize college career fairs and follow-up activities.
• Select summer interns to meet staffing needs.
• Oversee onboarding processes with HR and IT to secure resources.
• Develop and post engaging job postings on multiple platforms.
• Maintain ATS and recruitment database per stage of process.
• Coordinate communication with candidates and interview scheduling.
• Draft offer letters and send to hiring managers.
• Build relationships with operational leaders and external networks to identify talent.
