Job summary

First Tactical is seeking an independent contractor to sell tactical gear to military, law enforcement, security agencies, and outdoors enthusiasts. You will manage your own schedule, work remotely, and travel regularly for client meetings and trade shows.

Identify opportunities, build a robust pipeline, present products, coordinate wear tests, visit stores, and maintain records. You will receive commissions based on sales performance and be supported with sample gear and collateral.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in tactical/defense/security sectors.
• Strong understanding of tactical gear and equipment with ability to explain technical details.
• Track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and remotely.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts.
• Military/law enforcement/security sector familiarity is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional sales/business training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the tactical industry, including government agencies, law enforcement, and security companies.
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline targeting military, law enforcement, and commercial sectors.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to educate potential clients on features, benefits, and applications.
• Coordinate wear tests for products with key customers or influencers and gather feedback.
• Perform regular store visits, count and fill reports to ensure proper stocking and appealing displays.
