Job summary

FIVE ACRES is seeking an IT infrastructure professional in Pasadena to build, configure, and maintain the networked computer system, including servers, software, and applications for high operability. This role ensures robust backups per 3-2-1 and HIPAA standards while troubleshooting complex issues across hardware and networks.

You will design secure, redundant infrastructure, plan upgrades, and manage patches.

Qualifications

• A degree in computer science, IT, engineering or related qualification.
• Minimum certifications: Microsoft and CCNA certifications.
• 3 years of experience administering virtual environments.
• LAN and WAN experience.
• A focus on systems and network security.
• Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and maintain networked computer systems and servers for high operability.
• Test and document data backups following 3-2-1 strategy and HIPAA standards.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system issues.
• Architect infrastructure designs for security and redundancy, rollout plans, and patch management.
• Collaborate with team and stakeholders to prevent bottlenecks and improve service quality.
• Update policies to comply with HIPAA security practices.
