Job summary

Mutual of Omaha's Enterprise Data Warehouse Platform and Services team is seeking a System Engineer to act as an administrator, owner, and champion of enterprise data platforms. You will partner with Data Engineers and Application Development teams to improve processes, support platform users, and deliver enterprise data capabilities across the organization.

The role offers opportunities to solve complex technical problems, participate in Agile planning, and contribute to continuous service

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience managing and supporting enterprise data platforms.
Knowledge of Linux-based and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Administer and support enterprise data platforms and related technologies.
Configure, maintain and troubleshoot Linux-based, cloud-based environments.
Collaborate with Data Engineers, Dev teams and other technical users to enable platform use.
Monitor platform health and drive incident resolution.
Automate operational processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
Contribute to Agile planning and continuous service improvement.
Maintain data marts and reporting structures.
