Job summary

GroundWork Renewables is seeking a Systems Configuration Engineer to join our Systems Engineering team. You will lead PLM initiatives, manage SKUs and BOMs, and ensure configuration integrity across sales, manufacturing, and project delivery.

The role requires deep PLM and BOM governance experience, strong communication, and the ability to work remotely with internal and external stakeholders. Travel about 10% is expected to support sites and vendor locations.

Qualifications

• Experience with configuration management, PLM tools, ERP or PDM systems such as NetSuite.
• Expertise in BOM governance and product configuration.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; effective remote collaboration.
• Willingness to travel ~10% to various sites and offices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical interface to define project requirements across customers, sales, and engineering.
• Create and maintain SKUs across projects and ensure consistency between manufacturing and sales SKUs.
• Lead system architecture and PLM implementation, including BOMs and configuration drawings.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and validate configurations.
