Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a Systems Configuration Engineer, preferably in energy.
Proficiency in BOM Creation, Product Data Management, NetSuite, BOM governance, AutoCAD tools (Vault, Inventor, Fusion)
Strong understanding of system configuration principles and manufacturability.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience with sensors is a plus; meteorological systems weather systems experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain system configurations to meet internal and external requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and provide technical expertise.
Create and manage BOMs and govern their usage across the organization.
Leverage Product Data Management (PDM) systems to manage product data and streamline processes.
Utilize NetSuite for project management, inventory control, and financial tracking.
Implement and oversee BOM governance to ensure consistency and accuracy in product data.
Use AutoCAD, Vault, Inventor, and Fusion for designing, modeling, and documenting engineering processes.
Troubleshoot system issues and implement solutions in a timely manner.
Continuously evaluate and improve system configuration processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
