Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Systems Configuration Engineer for our renewable energy division. This role focuses on configuring and optimizing BOMs, PDM data, and NetSuite workflows to support utility-scale solar projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience and strong AutoCAD tooling knowledge including Vault, Inventor, and Fusion. We offer 100% family medical coverage, generous PTO, profit sharing, and fully remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Systems Configuration Engineer, preferably in the energy industry.
• Proficiency in BOM Creation, Product Data Management, NetSuite, BOM governance, AutoCAD tools (Vault, Inventor, and Fusion).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system configurations to meet internal and external requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and provide technical expertise.
• Create and manage BOM and govern their usage across the organization.
• Leverage Product Data Management (PDM) systems to manage product data and streamline processes.
• Utilize NetSuite for business management tasks, including project management, inventory control, and financial tracking.
• Implement and oversee BOM governance to ensure consistency and accuracy in product data.
• Use AutoCAD, Vault, Inventor, and Fusion for designing, modeling, and documenting engineering processes.
• Troubleshoot system issues and implement solutions in a timely manner.
• Continuously evaluate and improve system configuration processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with sensors is a plus.
• Experience with meteorological systems/weather systems is a plus.
