Job summary

The County of El Dorado is seeking a System Support Assistant in Placerville, CA to support automated public assistance systems and program operations within the Health and Human Services Agency. You will perform data entry, manage case records, and assist staff with system navigation and reporting.

The ideal candidate brings accuracy, problem-solving skills, and an ability to interpret regulations while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Three years of full-time experience performing financial or statistical recordkeeping.
• OR thirty college semester units or forty-five quarter units plus two years of experience.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a California or Nevada driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry transactions for case management, aid authorization, imaging, and data maintenance.
• Operate multiple operating systems, software, and equipment to support programs and admin functions.
• Serve as technical resource on difficult problems or specialized issues.
• Maintain files, write procedures, and generate reports using system resources.
• Review and reconcile system information (MEDS, C-IV, CalHEERS CWS/CMS, CMIPS).
• Research procedures and regulations, and review updates to stay current.
