Job summary

The County of El Dorado Health and Human Services Agency is seeking a Program Coordinator to supervise a small team delivering community services to seniors and low-income families in Placerville, CA. You will coordinate multiple programs, ensure compliance with funding and contractual requirements, and engage with stakeholders and partners to maximize program impact.

Qualifications

• AA degree in social services, psychology, or related field.
• Two years of experience in social service program eligibility determinations or program support work up to County level.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop program goals and ensure implementation and compliance with funding requirements; participate in budget development.
• Supervise day-to-day operation of varied senior and family services programs (rental assistance, food distribution, emergency shelter, information/referral, senior activities and transportation).
• Provide day-to-day direction, perform work reviews and training for staff and volunteers; oversee staff in work procedures.
• Maintain fiscal records and prepare reports to ensure spending stays within contractual limits.
• Direct receipt/review of program applications and determinations; ensure timely processing.
