Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is seeking an Entry-Level System Network Administrator for remote work. The role supports Linux/Unix/AIX servers and hosts our core database (Symitar) for credit union clients, with on-call rotation and travel-not-required expectations.

You’ll monitor systems, perform installations and configurations, implement upgrades, and assist with security, backups, and DR testing. Candidates should have at least 6 months of technical support experience and be within ~70 miles

Qualifications

Must have at least 6 months of experience providing technical support.
Must be able to work in an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

Monitors systems for optimum performance and availability.
Installs, configures and maintains systems, such as LAN, WAN, Internet and/or data networks.
Implements system enhancements that will improve performance and reliability.
Troubleshoots and resolves customer and internally reported system problems.
Implements and monitors corporate security policies.
Documents and implements system procedures, policies and events.
Performs essential functions required for effective system backup and restore testing.
Performs periodic recovery testing of DR plans.
May manage data access and data permissions.
Assists in managing user accounts.
May assist support groups with applications installed on servers.
May perform other job duties as assigned.
