Job summary

Climate First Bank is seeking a System Administrator to safeguard on-premises and cloud systems, manage access and provisioning, and uphold security controls. The role supports core banking tech and requires hands-on expertise with Windows Server, AD, and cloud services.

You’ll work remotely within the United States, with a focus on reliability, incident response, and collaboration across IT teams. A bachelor’s degree in IT or related field and 2+ years of infra experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or related IT roles, preferably in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Hyper-V, SaaS platforms, and enterprise storage technologies.
• Proficiency with Active Directory, Azure AD, group policy, identity and access management, endpoint management, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience leading or participating in technical initiatives is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer critical on-premises and cloud-based systems, including servers, virtualization platforms, endpoint management solutions, and core banking technologies.
• Maintain system uptime, performance reliability, and lifecycle management through monitoring, patching, and release planning.
• Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and continuous improvement across infrastructure and mission-critical systems.
• Manage Active Directory, Azure AD, group policies, IAM, and user lifecycle provisioning in line with controls and regulations.
• Lead incident response and root-cause analysis for outages or security events, coordinating with cybersecurity partners.
