Job summary

ACS Professional Staffing in Portland, OR is seeking a System Administrator 3 to support Critical Business Systems (CBS) in a remote-enabled framework. The role ensures provisioning, deployment, and maintenance of hardware, software, and infrastructure to meet project needs and schedules.

The position requires strong experience with Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, enterprise tooling, and incident management.

Qualifications

• Experience performing System Administration in IT environments.
• Knowledge of the Windows server operating system and basic network architecture.
• Experience with enterprise security and deployment tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Platform Services and CBS domains.
• Install, test, maintain, and upgrade CBS services in the CBS Virtual Datacenter and Active Directory.
• Handle incident, problem management and audit support for Enterprise Windows Server technologies.
• Install and decommission Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux server hardware/software and ensure security and interoperability.
• Provide technical guidance and training to other support staff and customers on server architecture and performance.
• Participate in regular On-Call rotations for Critical Business Systems.
