Summit TRC is seeking a Systems Administrator to support the 24/7 Mission Operations team, troubleshooting and solving issues across UAS systems, software, and networks during off-shift hours. The role requires a US citizen with an active security clearance and sits in Huntsville, AL, with remote work on 2nd/3rd shift.

Key responsibilities include monitoring system performance, diagnosing network issues, maintaining Linux and Windows servers, and documenting configurations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift (Three 12s or four 10s schedules available).
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Familiarity with common operating systems (Linux, Windows) and software applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and maintain system performance to ensure data flow continuity.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on technology trends and best practices.
• Diagnose and resolve network issues, optimizing performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and maintain Linux servers, ensuring system integrity and uptime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in real-time.
• Monitor and manage video feed distribution, focusing on unicast and multicast protocols.
• Document troubleshooting processes and system configurations for future reference.
