Job summary

CorVel is seeking a Senior Vice President, Liability Operational Strategy to provide executive leadership for the liability claims business, driving strategic direction, operational excellence, market growth, and financial performance. This role partners with Product, Operations, Sales, Finance, IT, HR, Legal and senior leadership to align delivery with corporate objectives.

Remote position with responsibilities across liability hubs, P&L accountability, and customer-focused programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership in insurance, risk management, or claims operations.
• Experience leading liability claim hubs and large teams.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting and forecasting.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Set short- and long-term strategies for liability services aligned with growth objectives.
• Provide executive leadership for Liability Claim Hubs and ensure performance.
• Drive revenue growth, profitability, and workforce planning with clear P&L accountability.
• Establish operating standards and staffing to support current and future demand.
• Lead strategic customer programs and support business development activities.
• Represent CorVel with customers and industry partners; promote growth.
