World Business Lenders seeks an experienced executive to lead its Asset Resolution Department nationwide, directing default litigation and recovery strategies for non-performing commercial loans secured by real estate. This role oversees counsel, manages outside firms, and partners with C-suite to optimize portfolio performance.

The position requires a JD, law license in good standing, and 10+ years in multi-state foreclosure and debt recovery, with strong leadership and data-driven reporting

Qualifications

• Must hold a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school and maintain an active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction in good standing.
• Demonstrated experience managing or overseeing a high-volume litigation portfolio with the ability to priorities, allocate resources, identify risk, monitor deadlines, and ensure quality across hundreds of matters.
• Experience supervising attorneys and legal staff, and managing outside counsel with budgets and invoices.

Responsabilités

• Lead nationwide Asset Resolution litigation and recovery strategies for non-performing commercial loans secured by real estate.
• Oversee Asset Resolution counsel (10+ counsel) and 6 support staff; ensure strategy, workload distribution, and execution quality.
• Manage relationships with outside law firms, oversee litigation strategy, and control legal spend and invoices.
• Partner with Executive Leadership, Credit, Servicing, Finance, Compliance, and Operations to assess portfolio risk and maximize returns.
• Develop executive reporting and portfolio analytics on recoveries, spend, aging, and trends.
