Center for EcoTechnology is seeking a Business Engagement Specialist to build relationships with businesses, institutions, and community partners to advance waste reduction and energy efficiency programs. The role emphasizes field outreach, partnerships, and cross-program collaboration.

You will manage lead activity, coordinate with value stream teams, and help identify opportunities while expanding CET’s carbon reduction mission.

Formación

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in outreach, business development, partnership development, or customer engagement.
• Experience with waste reduction, sustainability, or energy efficiency is preferred.
• Comfortable initiating conversations with new prospects and building relationships that lead to measurable results.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct direct outreach to prospective customers and educate them about CET programs.
• Coordinate with value stream Managers to support lead-to-project conversions.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with trade associations, municipal partners, and industry groups.
• Share market insights and feedback to inform outreach strategies and program improvements.
• Maintain accurate pipeline activity in Salesforce and report outcomes.
