Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Surveillance Radar Advisor to support modernization and sustainment of the NAS and FAA surveillance systems. You will analyze, advise, and report key performance information to implement upgrades critical to safe air travel. Roles include radar system integration, site surveys, installations, testing, and acceptance.

The position is 100% remote with about 75% travel, requiring U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

Self-starter traits and ability to operate with limited oversight.
Hands-on maintenance experience with radars, radios or networks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to report findings and coordinate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Provide SME on radar system integration, operations and lifecycle sustainment.
Support FAA surveillance programs with performance analysis, troubleshooting, and modernization planning.
Observe, capture and report technical data for FAA radar system installations and upgrades.
Collaborate with FAA stakeholders, contractors and engineering teams to align with mission objectives.
Develop and submit concise technical and status reports through each project phase.
