What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Make outgoing and take incoming phone calls to relay information between providers and patients
• Schedule follow-up appointments and surgeries
• Provide results and information to patients regarding their care
• Maintain familiarity with Electronic Medical Record and scheduling systems
• Ensure excellent telephone customer service without hands-on patient care
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Minimum education and certification/licensure as a Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse
• Excellent telephone customer service skills
• Familiarity with computers and ability to navigate Microsoft Office Suite
• Typing speed of 35+ wpm, which will be tested during the interview
• Ability to work within Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zones
