We are seeking a Support Services Engineer to support a defined application set and collaborate with cross-functional teams on design and improvement efforts. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent.
• Recent graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
• Eligibility for required authorizations under U.S. export control regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support an assigned team's work within a specified application set or on discrete system elements.
• Participate in design and development discussions, helping conceptualize outcomes from a software engineering perspective.
• Assist with feature/element estimation in terms of technical input, resources, time and outcomes.
• Create detailed plans for migrating legacy tools and systems to new/unified systems and language.
• Develop and implement unit and systems testing for critical code paths with secure coding practices.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting and enhancement for existing and new features.
• Document processes to capture best practices and repeatability.
• Update team members, managers, product owners and stakeholders on status and concerns.
• Train and mentor junior team members.
