Job summary

Unisys Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, repair, and maintain PC products and hardware at customer sites, ensuring systems operate as designed and users understand functionality.

The role requires strong customer service and the ability to collaborate with technical teams, schedule services, and document activities. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with 2–4 years of related experience and possible technical certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides the full range of field engineering support for an assigned base of large and/or complex clients.
• Takes complete ownership of onsite service activities.
• Performs advanced-level maintenance on all products, including lower-complexity installation activities.
• Provides technical feedback on equipment, systems, and processes to improve service delivery.
• Uses advanced tools and technical knowledge to resolve customer issues and conduct scheduled installations.
• Identifies and resolves systemic issues within the team.
• Provides technical assistance and expertise to other team members.
• Contributes to improved client-services metrics, reporting, and documentation.
• Monitors technical and process issues and proactively recommends service improvements to management and the team.

What success looks like in this role:

Role Summary

Installs, repairs, and provides technical maintenance for PC products and component hardware and software, primarily at customer locations. Ensures systems operate as designed, perform upgrades and maintenance as required, collaborate with technical teams, schedules services, completes administrative activities, and works directly with customers to ensure satisfaction and understanding of product functionality. Great Customer Service Skills are required.

Key Responsibilities
