Job summary

Collins Aerospace is hiring a Principal Specialist, Supply Chain Management for a remote role based in Puerto Rico. You will lead cross-functional efforts to resolve critical supplier issues, ensure production continuity, and drive improvements in quality, cost, and delivery using data-driven decision making.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in supply chain with strong supplier collaboration, project management, and Lean/continuous improvement experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills expected (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship required to access program information.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key problem solver for urgent supply chain issues impacting production.
• Identify and implement solutions to improve delivery performance and cost.
• Partner with suppliers and cross functional teams to resolve material and quality issues.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to accelerate resolution.
• Lead root cause investigations, corrective actions, and follow-up activities.
• Monitor performance, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans to protect production.
• Drive efficiency, cost savings, and continuous improvement across the supply chain.
• Apply project management, data analysis, and fact-based decision making on multiple initiatives.
• Support delivery assurance by prioritizing, tracking commitments, and timely actions.
• Prepare and communicate supply chain metrics and updates for leadership reviews.
