Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Supply Chain Administrator to support procurement professionals across subcontract and direct procurement needs. You will ensure timely delivery of materials, manage supplier relationships, and analyze spend data to optimize efficiency.

The role requires collaboration across teams, knowledge of ERP/e-procurement tools, and the ability to work independently while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in subcontracts or purchasing.
• Experience in procurement or subcontract management, including supporting proposals, supplier selection, or subcontract administration.
• Experience working with suppliers and their sub‑tiers with product and service delivery.
• Knowledge of procurement software and tools such as ERP systems or e‑procurement platforms.
• Knowledge of contract management software and tools.
• Ability to function independently as a self‑starter and manage work efficiently.
• Ability to collaborate with program leadership and stakeholders to drive delivery of procurements.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• HS diploma or GED: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement strategies that align with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with market account managers to align with business strategies.
• Manage inventory levels with suppliers to optimize availability and costs.
• Identify procurement risks and help create mitigation strategies.
• Advise on subcontract or direct procurement matters including contract types and compliance.
• Coordinate across the team to address procurement lifecycle issues.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with laws and policies.
• Mentor junior administrators and staff in procurement practices.
• Analyze portfolio data to drive efficiency and improvement.
• Support data analytics and forecasting to anticipate demand and industry disruptors.
• Build strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
• Secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels in procurement.
• Monitor supplier performance and address issues to ensure compliance.
• Prepare regular reports on spend, supplier performance, and trends.
• Leverage data insights to inform strategic procurement decisions.
