Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking a Supply Chain Improvement Manager to lead profit-enhancement initiatives with top supplier partners and key supply chain members. You will build collaborative programs to reduce costs, streamline freight, and drive operational excellence across our US supplier network.

You will translate analytics into actionable plans, develop project roadmaps, and serve as the main liaison for field and corporate teams on supplier performance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in related field required.
• 3–5 years related experience, preferably in supply chain management or healthcare.
• Knowledge of the interaction between supply chain partners within the Medical Surgical industry.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Top Suppliers and Key Supply Chain partners to identify profit enhancement opportunities.
• Develop project plans and assign responsibilities among all stakeholders and track plan to successful implementation.
• Perform required analytics to ensure lowest cost to serve and negotiate with stakeholders to equitably share in the profit enhancements.
• Point of contact for all issues (both field and home office) for the top suppliers and coordinate with other departments.
• Develops, implements and maintains operational and delivery program with performance standards and renegotiation where needed.
