Job summary

Ryder System is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer for the Dedicated Transportation Solutions division. The role can be remote with travel as needed, requiring 2–5 years of lean/process change experience and up to 60% travel weekly.

Responsibilities include designing distribution and transportation operations, data collection and analysis, and developing network designs using Paragon or similar tools. Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or supply chain is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or supply chain.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• 5+ years with data profiling, data mining and statistical analysis.
• 5+ years in the use of Paragon software or other transportation optimization tools.

Responsibilities

• Design distribution and transportation operations including staffing, equipment sizing and layout.
• Collect data and perform statistical analysis.
• Analyze layouts, labor, equipment to optimize resource utilization.
• Map and document processes, identify gaps and implement improvements.
• Develop transportation network and routing designs using appropriate software.
• Support business development and customer-facing meetings.
• Establish KPI targets and performance measures.
• Participate in proposal discussions.
