Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a quality engineer to lead supplier assessments and audits in aerospace and automotive sectors. You will travel to supplier sites (90% travel anticipated) and work remotely to ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO 9001 standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of audit experience, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, and strong analytical and communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in assessments and audits in aerospace or automotive industries.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools; MS Office.
• Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier audits/assessments and document RCCA items.
• Travel to supplier sites to ensure quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with suppliers to monitor RCCA improvement plans identified and completed to the RAIL agenda.
• Develop supplier recovery plans to increase Supplier Quality score and reduce Supplier Quality Corrective actions.
• Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Conduct thorough inspections and tests on products, components, and materials to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze data and generate reports to track quality performance and identify areas for improvement.
