Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to lead supplier audits and ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards from Phoenix, AZ. This remote role requires up to 90% travel to supplier sites to guarantee quality across aerospace, automotive, and related industries.

You will develop quality control processes, monitor RCCA actions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and robust supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in assessments and audits in the aerospace or automotive and/or other related industries.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Work independently remotely and travel on-site to suppliers to ensure quality standards are being met (90% Travel anticipated).
• Conduct supplier audits/assessments for identification of non-compliance areas and documenting RCCA items.
• Coordinate with suppliers to monitor and support RCCA improvement plans identified and completed to RAIL agenda.
• Develop supplier recovery plans to increase Supplier Quality score and reduce Supplier Quality Corrective actions.
• Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Conduct thorough inspections and tests on products, components, and materials to identify any defects or deviations from specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze data and generate reports to track quality performance and identify areas for improvement.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
