Job summary

The Supplier Quality Engineer will lead supplier quality efforts, travel domestically to onboard and audit suppliers, and ensure conformity to AS9100/ISO-9001 standards while driving continuous improvement across the supplier base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (STEM preferred) with at least 5 years of Supplier Quality in aerospace fabrication or assembly, or 10 years relevant experience.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident per ITAR; visa sponsorship not available.
• Willing to travel domestically to suppliers (international travel possible with notice).
• Experience with AS9100, ISO-9001, NADCAP and related quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, and performance monitoring.
• Provide Supplier Quality support to improve process performance and stability.
• Conduct surveillance of supplier conformance to requirements.
• Lead supplier quality investigations and coordinate corrective actions with follow-up verifications.
• Develop and audit supplier inspection plans and acceptance criteria.
• Lead Supplier Quality meetings with suppliers and Qarbon Leadership.
• Maintain positive relationships with internal/external customers and teams.
• Perform other duties to adapt to business changes.
