Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a part-time, fully remote Supplier Operations Manager to support External Manufacturing within Technical Operations. The role owns day-to-day supplier operations for contracts, purchase requisitions, and purchase orders from initiation through execution.

The engagement is approximately 20 hours per week through December 2026, with an option to extend pending implementation of new Procure to Pay and Contract Lifecycle Management systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
• Hands-on experience with procurement and contracting workflows, including PO systems such as Procurify and contract intake or tracking tools such as Smartsheet.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with an ability to build and maintain collaborative internal and external relationships.
• Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills, with an ability to communicate with executive-level management.
• Fully remote. No travel required.
• Start upon successful screening, interview, and background check. Initial 12-month contract with potential extension.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Technical Operations contracts and purchase requisitions/purchase orders from initiation through execution and release.
• Initiate and track PO requests in Procurify through issuance of the PO.
• Manage contract requests via Smartsheet and track through legal and technical review.
• Drive urgent SOW and PO reviews and ensure timely approval routing with approvers.
• Collaborate with Legal and Procurement to finalize contracts and POs.
• Align contract/PO completion with development and manufacturing timelines with Technical Operations.
• Attend and participate in standing contract status meetings and back-up leading meetings.
• Provide additional services and deliverables as needed.
