Minnesota Department of Human Services is seeking a Supplemental Payment Rates Specialist to manage supplemental payments and hospital claims data within Health Care Administration. The role collaborates with fiscal and data teams to ensure accurate payments and reporting.

Telework is eligible for Minnesota residents or bordering states with approval; expect day shift hours in a two-person team. Strong data analysis and policy understanding are essential.

Qualifications

• Understanding of federal and state health care payment policy requirements.
• Proficiency constructing and analyzing large datasets within Excel.
• Ability to present complex data sets clearly and concisely.

Responsabilités

• Manage supplemental payments to non-hospital providers including those funded by certified public expenditures (CPEs) and intergovernmental transfers (IGTs).
• Manage the Division’s subset of inpatient and outpatient hospital claims data (Flat File).
• In coordination with senior staff, determine federally required Upper Payment Limits (UPL).
• Manage the cost settlement process for hospital and dental services for State Operated Services providers.
