Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet research.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and complete multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides educational assistance to students in specific discipline to improve comprehension and mastery of the subject.
• Assists in preparation of workshops and materials to enhance student comprehension and supplement course assignments.
• Attends classes or study sessions onsite or online on a scheduled basis.
• Guides students in diverse instructional settings with hands-on practice.
• Leads in-class discussions and group activities as directed by instructor.
• Maintains lesson plans and records using required software and paperwork in a timely manner.
• Promotes academic support services and resources at the Centers for Learning Excellence.
