Responsibilities

• Oversee the Budget Formulation Division within the Management and Budget Office of NOS.
• Coordinate out-year planning, budget formulation, budget analysis, and programmatic evaluation for NOS.
• Work with the NOAA Budget Office to ensure NOS budget requests are correct and timely; respond to inquiries from NBO, DOC, OMB and Appropriations Committees.
• Apply knowledge of budgetary laws, regulations, and policies to provide authoritative interpretations of appropriations legislation.
