Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Medical Support Directorate, ensuring medical evidence, clinical records, and physical standards comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs.
• Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
• Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management; serves as the President, DoD Physical Disability Board of Review (PDBR).
• Provides strategic oversight of staff addressing medical issues and interpretation of laws, standards, and policies defining a physical disability for the PDBR.
• Represents the PDBR and AFRBA in all matters related to assigned and functional project areas.
