Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an accredited program.
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license.
• 3+ years as a clinical pharmacist in PBM settings.
• Experience developing and delivering training programs.
• Strong knowledge of prior authorization operations and laws.
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient with e-learning tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate onboarding and training sessions for pharmacists on prior authorization systems and processes.
• Develop and update training materials, verbiage templates, and job aids.
• Ensure training content is compliant with regulations and policies.
• Maintain records of training sessions and attendance for audits.
• Assess pharmacist performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to identify training needs.
• Provide clinical determinations and documentation in prior authorization cases.
• Perform peer-to-peer reviews with providers when requested.
• Conduct literature reviews to support decision-making and recommendations.
• Communicate issues and resolutions to members, pharmacies, and providers.
• Offer backup support to call center teams as needed.
