Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Suicide Prevention Coordinator to support prevention programming for active-duty SOF members. The SPC will act as a licensed clinical social worker and SME, coordinating prevention and postvention efforts and promoting evidence-based practices within contract requirements. U.S.

citizenship and a Secret security clearance or eligibility are required. The role may include clinical care and is contingent on contract award, with a strong emphasis on policy, training, and program

Qualifications

• Master of Social Work or equivalent degree with CSWE accreditation.
• Active LCSW licensure in the practicing state.
• Minimum two years of related clinical social work experience.
• Experience with military populations, SOF, or behavioral health teams is a plus.
• Knowledge of professional ethics and DoD guidelines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a high‑performance team for suicide prevention programs.
• Ensure staff coverage and SME support for program knowledge areas.
• Provide clinical services and supervision where required.
• Coordinate policy development and compliance across components.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to implement evidence‑based practices.
