Job summary

Maximus is seeking a dedicated Suicide Prevention Coordinator to support prevention programming, reporting, and initiatives for SOF-based units. The SPC will leverage clinical social work expertise, coordinate prevention/postvention efforts, and drive evidence-based practices while ensuring policy alignment and program efficiency.

The role may include some clinical care when needed and will require U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Current LCSW or LMSW with license valid in state of practice.
• Master of Social Work from CSWE-accredited program.
• Experience with military populations and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate suicide prevention policy, programming and practices across components.
• Provide clinical supervision of unlicensed providers or trainees as applicable.
• Support DoD/SOCOM directives and related clinical guidelines.
• Conduct assessments, and participate in multi-disciplinary reviews and boards.
• Attend meetings and contribute to program improvement efforts.
