Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Suicide Prevention Coordinator to support prevention programming, reporting, and initiatives for active-duty SOF personnel. The SPC will be a licensed clinical social worker and SME responsible for coordinating prevention and postvention efforts, supporting policy development, and promoting evidence-based practices that strengthen resilience.

This role requires U.S. citizenship and a Secret security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

Active LCSW license in the state of practice is required.
MSW or equivalent CSWE-accredited program is required.
Minimum of two years of related clinical social work experience.
Experience with military populations, SOF, suicide prevention programs, or multidisciplinary behavioral health teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise a team of employees to maintain high performance.
Ensure adequate staff coverage for the program area.
Serve as SME for suicide prevention and related practices.
Monitor SLA adherence and contract requirements for the team.
Coordinate with contract management and shared services to improve efficiencies.
May attend client and stakeholder meetings.
Provide clinical supervision of unlicensed providers or trainees, as applicable.
Apply DoD clinical practice guidelines and ensure reporting is accurate and timely.
