Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. is seeking a senior field-focused engineer to conduct system-level assessments for customer installations across North America.

You will perform on-site inspections, collect data, develop risk-based recommendations, and prepare technical reports for stakeholders. You will leverage life-cycle services, asset conditions, and reliability insights to identify improvements and lifecycle opportunities that enhance power system performance and modernization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 10+ years in engineering or lifecycle services.
• Experience with HV substation equipment and field service.
• Ability to perform technical assessments, inspections, and reliability studies.

Responsibilities

• Execute system-level assessments of customer installations across North America.
• Conduct on-site inspections and data collection; prepare reports.
• Develop risk-based recommendations and present findings to stakeholders.
• Identify lifecycle service opportunities and performance improvements.
