Job summary

Selectek is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the EPC Division in the West Atlanta, GA metro area or remote. You will support front-end sales and back-end project management, focusing on substation electrical design, protection and controls, and testing throughout projects.

The role includes field support, coordination with testing contractors, and ensuring compliance with NFPA, NERC, and related standards. PE license preferred; strong communication and teamwork required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) required.
• Professional Engineering License preferred.
• AutoCAD Electrical highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Teamworking ability.
• Switching Experience and Safety Training.

Responsibilities

• Write and review equipment specification and data sheets for proposals and projects.
• Draft technical relay, protection and communication scopes of work for proposals.
• Support pre-bid meetings and customer meetings.
• Provide engineering expertise to design or oversee subcontractor electrical design work.
• Maintain design quality control and metrics for long-term management of the design group.
