Job summary

Katch is seeking an Investigator to complete investigations to determine subrogation potential. You will gather accident details via various contacts and apply state and federal compliance policies to prepare the subrogation file for our Recovery Specialist team.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, critical thinking, and clear communication in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in claims investigation or related field.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in claims systems and subrogation tools.
• Knowledge of healthcare coding (CPT, ICD-10) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and investigates within various claims platforms to determine coverage eligibility and plan information.
• Enter missing case details into the case management system.
• Review documentation to ensure consistent case set up process.
• Contact external customers by phone/ email and solicit additional information required for the case.
• Enter daily results into production tracker.
