The candidate will act as the initial contact for subrogation inquiries, assess whether cases qualify, and ensure information is complete and accurate before opening new subrogation files.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years previous work experience in collections, legal, claims processing, or subrogation related field.

Responsibilities

• Identify and investigate potential subrogation situations.
• Work in conjunction with various entities to obtain accident and injury information.
• Utilize subrogation software to create accounts, log case details, and update account status.
• Serve as initial point of contact for subrogation investigation to determine if the claim qualifies as subrogation.
• Research and investigate potential subrogation files utilizing various mechanisms to obtain case details.
• Audit information for completeness and accuracy before establishing new subrogation case.
• Scan and upload returned member correspondence.
• Review all incoming checks to determine if related to subrogation case.
