Sanford Health is seeking a Subrogation Investigator to identify and investigate potential subrogation opportunities. The role involves collaborating with multiple entities to gather accident and injury information, and using subrogation software to manage accounts and case details.

The candidate will act as the initial contact for subrogation inquiries, assess whether cases qualify, and ensure information is complete and accurate before opening new subrogation files.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years previous work experience in collections, legal, claims processing, or subrogation related field.

Responsibilities

• Utilize subrogation software to create accounts, log case details, and update account status.

• Audit information for completeness and accuracy before establishing new subrogation case.
• Scan and upload returned member correspondence.
• Review all incoming checks to determine if related to subrogation case.
