Stride, Inc. partners with Michigan Great Lakes Virtual Academy (MGLVA) to place a Student Support Advisor Substitute (contractor). The role focuses on increasing student and Learning Coach engagement, building strong relationships, and guiding families through MTSS processes.

Work is home-based with occasional office days; travel up to 25% may be required. Start on November 2, 2026 and run through June 4, 2027, with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Two years of college and two years of experience in education or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with online learning environments and technology tools.

Responsabilités

• Oversee a caseload of students to increase engagement through interventions.
• Provide proactive support to students using data resources.
• Support students and Learning Coaches through onboarding (Strong Start).
• Serve as primary contact between students, Learning Coaches, teachers and administration.
• Pursue ongoing training to meet evolving student and coach needs.
