Job summary

UW Medicine IT Services is seeking a part-time Student Assistant for Governance & Strategic Planning. The role supports the Director and cross-functional teams, focusing on project scheduling, data analysis, and workflow documentation.

You will help create dashboards, assist with policy development, and communicate updates to ITS leadership. The position is hybrid with some in-office days in Seattle, requiring the candidate to be a current University of Washington student and available during IT

Qualifications

Must be a current student at the University of Washington.
Mid-level skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Familiarity with EHR systems, SQL, or data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support for ITS Governance & Strategic Planning initiatives.
Assist with project scheduling, milestones, and deliverables.
Prepare slide decks and present information as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the ITS organization.
Capture, document, and improve workflows for efficiency and compliance.
Assist in policy development and regulatory alignment.
