Kaplan, Inc. seeks a Student Finance Coordinator to assist students with their financial obligation and aid packages. This remote role involves handling inbound/outbound calls, emails, and other communications to explain funding sources and plan payments.

The role reviews eligibility for Title IV funds, discusses loan options, and helps students assess and plan debt repayment while monitoring aid eligibility throughout the academic term.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/finance or related field.
• 1+ years' experience in Financial Aid, Student Accounts, or similar.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Apps.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational and customer service skills.
• Must be in good standing with any student loan debt.

Responsabilités

• Provide inbound and outbound student support via phone, email, or other media.
• Review applications and documents for Title IV eligibility and loan limits.
• Explain aid packages and payment options to students, including plans and external loans.
• Review loan eligibility and discuss continued loan eligibility with students.
• Assess a student’s ability to pay and communicate remaining obligations at term end.
• Answer billing inquiries and update award letters as needed.
