Job summary

Canam Steel Corporation is seeking a Structural Steel Construction Project Manager to oversee orders from sales handoff through fabrication and delivery. The role is fully remote with the requirement to reside and be authorized to work in the United States.

The position offers PM I, II, or III levels based on experience, with compensation tied to experience and location, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
• Strong communication skills; ability to provide information clearly.
• Must be able to manage time effectively.
• Analyze information and evaluate results to choose best solution.
• Willingness to travel for training and jobsite visits.
• Experience with Word, Excel, and MS Project is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for customers for orders handed off from sales.
• Maintain customer satisfaction while meeting shop production targets.
• Maximize profitability per order in line with company mission and values.
• Coordinate with drafting/engineering, sales, estimating, shipping and production to determine schedules.
• Establish fabrication and delivery schedules; manage project scope and changes.
