Job summary

Macuch Steel Products seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead executive-level project delivery in the steel construction sector. The role manages PM teams and detailing groups, ensuring on-time, within-scope, and on-budget results while coordinating with vendors and site teams.

Candidates should be within a 5-hour drive of Atlanta, be prepared for occasional travel and site visits, and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in CM/Engineering/Arch Drafting or related field.
• 5+ years as a Project Manager in the construction/steel industry.
• Experience managing large commercial building projects and teams.

Responsibilities

• Review construction plans, documents, specs, and contracts.
• Plan, organize, and control large commercial projects to meet scope, schedule and budget.
• Communicate with vendors, general contractors, architects, engineers, detailers, subcontractors and staff.
• Conduct scope reviews and monitor progress against the schedule.
• Obtain and approve vendor quotes and review shop drawings.
• Oversee shipping schedules and analyze changes; write/approve change orders.
• Assist in training Assistant Project Managers; support site visits as needed.
