Job summary

You will contribute to multi-disciplinary projects across Education, Health, S&T, Commercial and Sports markets, with potential to evolve into a full-time entry-level role for qualified students.

The role requires enrollment in a Civil Engineering program with a structural emphasis and coursework in building systems; experience with concrete/steel design and tools

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor in Civil Engineering with Structural focus.
• Coursework in building systems engineering required.
• Concrete and steel design experience or coursework required.
• Masonry and wood design experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in engineering design software (Revit, RAM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Structural analysis and design of new and existing structural systems.
• Preparation of documents and reports from concept design through advanced technical design documentation.
• Assist in the review and markup of shop drawing submittals.
• Recommend ways to improve process, quality and coordination efforts.
• May visit job site to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress.
• May perform other duties as required.
