Job summary

Jobot is seeking a REMOTE Structural Building or Bridge Engineering Leader with business development experience. The role blends 80% BD and 20% engineering management, offering a salary of $200,000 - $250,000 per year.

The position drives growth with public/municipal DOT and transportation clients, leads bridge practice expansion, and provides technical oversight on major projects across regions.

Qualifications

• PE license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of Structural (Transportation, Bridge OR Building) Engineering Design with business development.
• Proven success building client relationships and winning projects.
• Experience working with public/municipal clients.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive business development efforts and expand relationships with DOT, municipal, and transportation clients.
• Lead growth initiatives and help build the region's bridge practice.
• Develop pursuit strategies, proposals, scopes, and fee estimates.
• Provide technical oversight and quality leadership for bridge and transportation structure projects.
• Mentor and manage bridge engineering staff.
• Collaborate with transportation teams across multiple regions.
• Represent the firm at client meetings, industry events, and professional organizations.
