Job summary

Cribl is hiring a Technical Revenue Manager to lead ASC 606 policy development for new offerings and to document accounting positions for complex transactions. You will partner with Product, Sales, Legal, and Deal Desk to ensure compliant revenue recognition and scalable processes.

The role requires CPA credentials, 5+ years in accounting with 2+ years in technical revenue, and strong writing skills. Remote-first environment with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active CPA license.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with at least 2+ years in Technical Revenue.
• Deep ASC 606 expertise across multi-element and hybrid arrangements.
• Experience with standalone selling price, POBs, variable consideration, and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Author revenue policies and position papers for ASC 606 compliant launch.
• Research, resolve, and document accounting conclusions for complex transactions.
• Evaluate commercial structures and deployment models for revenue treatment.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to scale revenue processes and automation.
• Serve as primary contact for technical revenue with external auditors and SOX control docs.
• Support month-end/quarterly close and revenue flux analysis.
