Job summary

hc1 Insights, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to drive value for health system clients in lab diagnostics, capital equipment, and regulatory compliance. You will oversee complex supply chain initiatives and lead efforts to deliver savings and quality improvements.

You will partner with clients, manage RFPs and contracting, and build strong relationships while collaborating across service lines to expand engagements. This remote role has nationwide eligibility with state restrictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, or science preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, preferably managing the clinical laboratory spend.
• Experience in project management with multiple full lifecycle Supply Chain Strategy engagements.
• Proficiency in analytics to measure and improve efficiencies and collaboration.
• Proven experience in operational improvements, business case development, change management, and performance measurements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to identify savings and quality/process improvements.
• Develop understanding of client's needs to create and refresh opportunity pipelines.
• Lead sourcing processes, RFPs, supplier selection, capital acquisition, negotiation, and contracting.
• Manage client relationships with clear communication and change management.
• Collaborate across service lines to initiate project opportunities and expand engagements.
• Present subject matter expertise to drive understanding and new initiatives.
